In discovering the thrill of storytelling, participants will learn how to harness the power of true, personal narratives as a tool for communication, connection, sales, or slams! 

We will cover narrative basics, crafting for performance and/or public speaking, and tried and true "live lit" techniques.

Storytelling success hinges on finding your "voice" and capturing your uniqueness. We will spend time not only discussing and practicing nonfiction storytelling techniques, we will access inspiration and insight using Story Jam Studio™ exercises and writing prompts. Our process is fun and individualized within a warm, inclusive environment.

All storytellers will receive helpful resource material and they’ll have a chance to receive feedback on their work each week.

This class is led by Story Jam creative director Stephanie Rogers, who holds degrees in theatre and writing and who has been producing popular storytelling shows since 2013.
